All people using sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservation regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.
Sauna etiquette and safe behavior must always be adhered to.
This includes:
- Removing shoes/sandals/flipflops prior to entering the sauna.
- Changing clothes be done at home for quicker change at our space or in our changing room with lockers.
- Entering and exiting the sauna in a safe manner.
- Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed
- To prevent burning, jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna.
- You must sit on the clean towel.
- No underwear, only sauna wear or swimwear are allowed in sauna.
- No touching any parts of the stove/stove cage/rocks.
- Only pouring the provided ‘’sauna water ‘’on hot rocks. Nothing else.
- Follow Saunature Spa staff instructions on how to pour water onto hot rocks.
- Use long handle ladle to pour water on to stones but 1st ask other people in sauna if they ok with it.
- If it gets too hot, get out of sauna to cool off.
- Bring plenty of water and make sure to keep yourself(child) hydrated throughout your stay.
- Alcohol, heavy foods, and smoking are not permitted in the sauna and in the Saunature Spa outside space.
- No animals allowed.
- Children under age of 16 are only permitted to be under very strong supervision from the parents, a 1:1 ratio. In the sauna with parents, they stay together all the time. With shorter stays in sauna (SS recommend 3-5mins inside sauna and in 8-10mins cooling off)
- When outside be aware of the fire pit and sit only in designated sitting areas outside.
- Be careful of cold plunge and the shower as it can be slippery and wet.
- We have portable toilet outside please bring torch with you.
- All people using shower please bring nonchemical shower gels and shampoos.
- If you use cold plunge or river do so at their own risk. -It is your won responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to cold temperatures, currents, and other danger to a body in water.
- We recommend 2-3 sauna entries ( 15-20 mins in , 5-10 out ) and cooling off in between sitting outside, or small water splashes, or quick shower rinses.
- We recommend doing ‘’cold plunges’ only after the 3rd entry of sauna.In case of fire leave the sauna immediately and report to the premises, to fire point. Please don’t collect your belongings.

If you are making a booking on behalf of the group, it is your responsibility to make sure all users are aware and sign disclaimer, aware of terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use. SS reserves the right to refuse admissions to intoxicated people or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk.
